FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: used to measure relative movements between two points on the earth's surface, separated by significant distances, occurring due to the influence of natural and exogenous processes or individual sections of engineering and construction structures. The device for measuring deformations of the earth's surface consists of a horizontally installed block 1 for measuring changes in the length of the cable, made of a cylindrical shape. Inside the block 1 for measuring changes in cable length there is a shaft 2 protruding from one side, a permanent magnet 3 mounted on the shaft 2, and a magnetic converter 4 of the angular movements of the permanent magnet 3 into an electrical signal. Block 1 for measuring changes in cable length is connected to block 5 of the electrical signal converter into a digital signal. On the protruding part 6 of the shaft 2, a measuring roller 7 made of a cylindrical shape is installed coaxially with the block 1 for measuring changes in the length of the cable. A recess 8 is made on the outer side surface of the measuring roller 7. At the measurement point on the earth's surface, an anchor 9 is installed, connected by means of a cable 10 passing along the recess 8 of the measuring roller 7, with a load 11 that ensures constant tension of the cable. The inputs of the microcontroller 12 are connected, respectively, to the power stabilizer 13 and the output of the electrical signal to digital signal converter block 5, and the output is connected to the input of the block 14 for transmitting a digital signal to external devices 15. The input of the power switch 16 is connected to the output of the power stabilizer 13, and the outputs are connected to a block for measuring changes in cable length 1 and a block for converting an electrical signal into a digital signal 5.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability and sensitivity of measurements by reducing the influence of drift phenomena.
