METHOD OF DIAGNOSING INSTABILITY OF ACCOMMODATION Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B3/09

Abstract RU 2809454 C1

FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the diagnostics of accommodation. The study is carried out using dynamic computer accommodation and the diagnostic accommodation signal is recorded over a period of time from 10 to 60 seconds with a recording frequency of at least 6 Hz. The signal is processed using an approximating cubic spline. Each point on the accommodation signal is compared with a point on the same time axis belonging to the cubic spline, and the number of microfluctuations at each recorded moment of time relative to the approximating cubic spline accommodation signal, the maximum signal range and the change in the trend of the signal isoline on the time axis are determined. If the decreasing trend is more than 0.35 and the frequency of microfluctuations is more than 1.4 per second and/or the maximum signal swing is more than 1.2, instability of accommodation is diagnosed.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to quantitatively assess the instability of accommodation with objectification of the obtained data due to certain processing of the diagnostic signal, determining the number of microfluctuations, the trend of the signal isoline, the maximum signal range and their parameters.
