FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. In case of accommodation disorders in children with myopia, the amplitude of accommodation is determined using an automatic refracto-kerato-tono-pachymeter TONOREF III, before and 30 minutes after instillations of 2.5% Phenylephrine solution. With an increase in the amplitude of accommodation, indications for daily instillations of a 2.5% solution of Phenylephrine are determined for 1 month.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of choosing an adequate systemic use of Phenylephrine 2.5%, which ensures the effectiveness, in case of accommodation disorders in children with myopia.
