FIELD: medicine and ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Postoperative ophthalmologic examination is performed. Refraction is determined to assess the results of the operation. When myopic refraction is detected, computer accommodation is performed to assess the severity of accommodation disorders. After that, if there is a weakness of accommodation, characterized by an accommodation response coefficient below 0.4 diopters, an installation of a 2.5% solution of Irifrin is prescribed for 2-4 weeks. At the same time, simultaneously with the installations of the Irifrin solution, a course of laser stimulation of the ciliary body is carried out daily for 10 days.
EFFECT: invention allows diagnosing and effectively eliminating "false" myopization in the postoperative period in patients with hyperopia after keratorefractive surgery.
