FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: devices for grinding various materials, used in the production of construction materials, as well as in other industries. The centrifugal disc grinder contains cylindrical body 1 with loading 2 and unloading 3 branch pipes, oppositely rotating upper 4 and lower 5 disks. On the lower surface of upper conical disk 4 and on the upper surface of lower conical disk 5 there are annular protrusions 7 and 8 and depressions 9 and 10 of a semicircular cross-section alternating one after another from the centre to the periphery. Annular projections 7 and 8 fit into the corresponding annular depressions 9 and 10 of two conical disks 4 and 5. The vertical gap between them uniformly decreases from the centre to the periphery from (1.0...1.2)Dmax to (0.1...0.5)Dmax, where Dmax is the maximum particle size of the crushed material. In annular protrusions 8 of lower conical disk 5 along the circumference with a step uniformly decreasing from one annular protrusion 8 to the other towards the periphery, conical holes 11 are made with a diameter of larger base 12 towards the periphery. Generatrix 13 of each conical hole 11 connects lower points 14 of annular depressions 10 of lower conical disk 5. Angle β of inclination of tangent 15 to the horizon connecting these annular depressions 10 exceeds the angleα natural slope of the material. The height of annular protrusions 7 and 8 and annular depressions 9 and 10 of two disks 4 and 5, as well as the diameter of smaller base 16 of conical holes 11 decrease from the centre of disks 4 and 5 to the periphery, respectively, from (1.2...1.5)Dmax and from Dmax is proportional to the decrease in the vertical gap between annular projections 7, 8 and annular depressions 9, 10 of two disks 4 and 5.
EFFECT: grinder provides an increase in the efficiency of the workflow.
