FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: following is proposed: a method of obtaining biomass of the diatom Nanofrustulum shiloi, which involves cultivation in an accumulative mode for 20 days in plane-parallel cultivators with a working layer thickness of 2–5 cm at 22± 1°C, round-the-clock illumination of 11.5 klx on a nutrient medium prepared on the basis of sterile sea water with a salinity of 17%.
EFFECT: invention provides an expansion of the arsenal of methods of cultivating Nanofrustulum shiloi with increased biomass yield.
