FIELD: tampon applicators.
SUBSTANCE: present invention is related to a device for connecting multi-component tampon applicators, in particular three-component tampon applicators comprising at least one outer cylinder 101 and a first inner cylinder 102. The device includes at least one connection station provided with at least one receiving pin for receiving each of one outer cylinder and one first inner cylinder 102, as well as a first inner cylinders feeding device for loading at least one first inner cylinder onto given at least one receiving finger, and an outer cylinder feeding device for loading at least one outer cylinder 101 onto this at least one receiving finger 13.1, 13.2. The device further is comprised of a workstation 16 for connecting this at least one outer cylinder with this at least one first inner cylinder 102, and this at least one connection station is located in the radial direction on the circular disk, in particular in such a way that this at least one receiving pin is oriented substantially radially. Present invention is also related to a method for connecting multi-component, in particular three-component, tampon applicators.
EFFECT: device and method for connecting multi-component tampon applicators is proposed.
