FIELD: microbiology; biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: following has been proposed: a method of obtaining a freeze-dried preparation of human feces for transplantation of fecal microbiota, which includes diluting a fresh fecal sample in a 3-fold volume phosphate buffer of 0.1 M, pH 7.4, homogenizing the mass for 1 min, followed by filtration. Sucrose is added to the filtrate up to a concentration of 10% by volume of the mixture; the volume of the mixture is adjusted to the final volume ratio of feces:buffer 1:4; the mixture is poured into glasses and frozen at -80°C for subsequent lyophilization at a temperature of a sample equal to -20°C, condenser temperature -40-50°C and a vacuum of 20–40 Pa for 48 hours.

EFFECT: invention provides an expansion of the arsenal of methods of obtaining lyophilized feces preparations that most closely correspond to fresh feces in terms of the number of viable microorganisms and the molar ratios of major short-chain fatty acids.
