FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: used in the production of granulated sulfur cement from its melt. The method for producing granules from a sulfur cement melt is based on moistening the surface of falling drops of the melt with a dispersed liquid refrigerant. The melt and liquid refrigerant supplied to granulation are charged with opposite electrical charges. In this case, sulfur cement is supplied to granulation in an amount sufficient to load a vehicle, and liquid refrigerant is supplied in an amount necessary to harden the surface of the granules and sufficient for its complete evaporation.
EFFECT: ensuring uniform distribution of the liquid refrigerant over the surface of the falling drops of the melt and its complete evaporation.
