FIELD: aerosol-forming products.
SUBSTANCE: cartridge including a housing with a side wall and at least one cover positioned such that it covers the top side and/or the bottom side. The cartridge contains a cavity within the housing, said cavity being configured to receive an aerosol-forming substrate. The cover contains an inner layer facing the cavity and an outer layer facing outward from the body. The inner layer contains a weakened area. When the outer layer is removed, the weakened area of the inner layer creates a hole. Said cavity is in fluid communication with the area outside the cartridge body through the formed opening. The aerosol-forming substrate may contain tobacco. The cartridge may be a hookah cartridge, and the aerosol-forming substrate may be a hookah substrate, such as hookah tobacco.
