SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in the surgical treatment of fractures of the lower third of the humerus. Intramedullary metal osteosynthesis with blocking is performed, during which the bone marrow canal in the distal fragment is lengthened by drilling to the upper third of the ulnar fossa, as well as repositioning and insertion of a round rod for osteosynthesis into the proximal and distal fragments of the humerus. After introducing the rod into the distal fragment of the humerus, a locking compression screw with an incomplete thread and a toothed washer is inserted in an oblique direction, and the screw is inserted through the fracture line at an angle of 40 to 60 degrees to the diameter of the bone. The screw insertion point is determined by radiographs in two mutually perpendicular planes so that it is located in the middle of the fracture line.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to simplify the process of intramedullary osteosynthesis while simultaneously providing interfragmentary compression in the fracture zone and improving conditions for fusion of fragments.
