SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing polyfunctional mixed metal alkoxides used in the (co)polymerization of conjugated dienes and vinyl aromatic compounds as modifiers of organolithium initiators. The method includes the interaction of a mixture of alkylcarbitol or oxypropylated glycerol (Laprol-373) and an amino-containing alcohol selected from N,N,N',N'-tetra(β-hydroxypropyl)ethylenediamine (Lapramol-294) or hydroxypropylated aniline and hydroxypropylated toluidine, in an equivalent ratio of ether alcohol: amine alcohol equal to (1.0–4.0):1.0, with metal hydroxides of sodium, potassium, barium or sodium metal or a mixture thereof at an equivalent ratio of hydroxyl group: metal hydroxides or alkali metal equal to 1.0:(0.5–1.0), respectively. Then, in the second stage, the resulting alcohol-alcoholate mixture reacts with calcium or magnesium at an equivalent ratio of alkoxy group: alkaline earth metal equal to 1.0:(0.1–1.0).
