FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: strain of Escherichia coli serovar ONT:H30 B-8857 has been proposed, characterized by the presence of genes that determine serotype (flicC30), encoding the synthesis of anti-aggregation protein — dispersin (aar), transcriptional activator regulator (aar), large subunit of adhesive-aggregation fimbriae type I (aggA), the afimbrial-adhesive membrane of enterobacteria (aggB), the periplasmic chaperone of the initial stage of type I adhesive-aggregation fimbriae (aggC), the chaperone of type I adhesive-aggregation fimbriae (aggD) and the hexosyltransferase homologue (capU). The strain was deposited in the State Collection of Pathogenic Microorganisms and Cell Cultures GKPM-Obolensk.

EFFECT: proposed strain can be used as: a control test strain for the detection of enteroaggregative Escherichia coli (EAgEC); control test strain for indicating the H30 antigen by the molecular method (detection of the fliC30 gene); for a comparative study of the genetic relatedness and differentiation of EAgEC strains that cause intestinal infections and diseases of extraintestinal localization.
