FIELD: medicine; experimental pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to correct endothelial dysfunction. Before the administration of sodium thiosulfate, endothelial dysfunction is modeled in experimental animals, which are intraperitoneally injected with a non-selective NO synthase blocker N-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME) at a dose of 60 mg/kg 1 time per day for 7 days. Then, 12 hours after administration of L-NAME, sodium thiosulfate is administered intraperitoneally at a dose of 200 mg/kg.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of correction of endothelial dysfunction due to the ability to stimulate endogenous NO synthesis, as well as the pronounced anti-inflammatory, antiplatelet and antioxidant effects of sodium thiosulfate preparation in the specified dosage on the pathology model under study.
