FIELD: medicine; dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in the surgical elimination of gum recession. The exposed tooth roots are treated mechanically and chemically. An incision is made into the mucosa in the area of the transitional fold, mobilization and coronal displacement of the formed flap is performed, with the gums being strengthened with a graft, in which, after forming a horizontal incision of the mucosa measuring 3–5 mm, the periosteum is peeled off: in height — from the level of the transitional fold to the gingival edge of the interdental papillae, preserving the interpapillary ligament, in width — to the middle of intact teeth. After coronal displacement of the mucoperiosteal flap using a tunnel approach, collagen strips are placed near each tooth so that the strips are located one under the other, partially overlapping each other in width. Next, a collagen strip having a length and width sufficient to cover all previously laid strips is closed, performing digital compression and holding the flap in the achieved position. Supportive resorbable or non-resorbable sutures are placed with 7.0, 6.0 or 5.0 thread. Sutures are removed 10–14 days after surgery.

EFFECT: by eliminating vertical and horizontal incisions of the mucous membrane, eliminating delamination of the mucosa and periosteum, as well as eliminating autograft collection the method allows to reduce trauma, increase the functional effect and stability of the result in patients with gum recession in the area of teeth and implants, regardless of their location.
