FIELD: microscopy.
SUBSTANCE: sample preparation with the possibility of applying fine powders to a substrate for microscopy. A method for preparing electron microscopic and probe microscopic preparations involves obtaining a dispersed suspension, spraying it vertically upward using a high-frequency ultrasonic aerosol generator and changing the flow direction to the opposite when feeding it through a laminating tube onto a substrate for applying a sample, followed by drying in air at room temperature. A sample preparation device for transmission electron microscopy and probe microscopy is presented.
EFFECT: simplification and increased reliability of sample preparation when applying powdered samples to the substrate.
