METHOD OF SELECTING PATIENTS WITH BRONCHIAL ASTHMA FOR TREATMENT WITH COMPUTER ELECTROACUPUNCTURE Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61H39/00 A61B5/02

Abstract RU 2810459 C1

FIELD: medicine; internal medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to select patients with bronchial asthma (BA) for treatment with computer electroacupuncture. The predicted treatment effectiveness index (PTEI) k(1), pathogenetic form of BA k(2), gender k(3) and disease phase k(4) are determined. For PTEI values from 0 to 1 inclusive, k(1) is assigned 1 point; for PTEI values less than 0 or greater than 1, k(1) is assigned 0 points. For an exogenous or mixed form of AD, k(2) is assigned 1 point; for an endogenous form of AD, k(2) is assigned 0 points. If k(3) is female, 1 point is assigned; if k(3) is male, 0 points are assigned. During the exacerbation phase, k(4) is assigned 1 point; during the remission phase, k(4) is assigned 0 points. The probability coefficient for the effective use of computer electroacupuncture CEUCE is calculated using the formula ((k(1)+k(2)+k(3)+k(4))*100%)/4. Treatment of a patient with computer electroacupuncture is considered indicated if the CEUCE value is more than 50%.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the efficiency of selecting patients suffering from asthma for treatment with computer electroacupuncture by determining the probability coefficient for the effective use of computer electroacupuncture.
