FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to calendula oil extract for correcting intestinal microbiota and a method of its production. A method of producing calendula oil extract, characterized by obtaining a tincture of calendula flowers in olive oil, characterized by the following: fresh calendula flowers are collected in the morning in dry sunny weather, dried for 60 minutes in dryers using an infrared drying method, then in a container, intended for food purposes, 1 kg of dried calendula flowers are poured with 10 liters of extra-virgin olive oil, where 20 ml of “extra” class alcohol are also added before adding the mixture, then dried ripened calendula seeds are crushed in the amount of 20 grams and added to the resulting mixture; the resulting mixture of calendula flowers and seeds is infused for at least 14 days, then samples are taken to determine the content of carotenoids; for medicinal purposes, they are selected with a carotenoid content in the range of 1.0–1.3 μg/ml; in the case of lower levels of carotenoids, the infusion process is continued until the above indicators are achieved; after obtaining the required indicators, the fatty extract of calendula flowers and seeds is poured into bottles and used for their intended purpose, or stored at room temperature. Calendula oil extract for correction of intestinal microbiota, obtained as described above.

EFFECT: above extract is effective for correcting the intestinal microbiota, which is produced in a simple and quick way.
