SUBSTANCE: following is disclosed: an ophthalmic liquid product contained in a container in which the inner wall surface consists of a resin including polybutylene terephthalate, and the ophthalmic liquid product contains: (A) 0.0005 to 0.005 w/v% dibutylated hydroxytoluene, (B) 0.05 to 0.3 w/v% xanthan gum thickener, (C) 0.01 to 0.1 w/v% one or more nonionic surfactants selected from the group consisting of polysorbate 80, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil 60 and polyethylene glycol monostearate, and having a pH of 6 to 8. A method of inhibiting the reduction of dibutylated hydroxytoluene is also disclosed.
