FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: following is proposed: fusion proteins for binding VEGF and IL-6, each of which contains an antagonistic antibody that binds to IL-6 and a VEGF trap. The VEGF trap contains domain 2 of VEGFR1 and domain 3 of VEGFR2. Conjugates of these fusion proteins are also proposed. Besides, the invention relates to nucleic acids encoding fusion proteins, expression vectors, cells to produce fusion proteins, methods of obtaining and using the said fusion proteins.
EFFECT: invention may find its further application in therapy.
