FIELD: air purification.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to methods for air purification when eliminating the consequences of a fire in a confined space, for example, in a marine facility. A method of purifying the air of a closed room, in which the door to the room is dismantled and a plug of appropriate size is installed in its place with fittings for connecting pipelines through which pipelines for supplying a steam-water mixture and air are passed, as well as for removing contaminated water and contaminated air. Next, water is supplied to the steam ejection unit, which is brought to the state of a steam-water mixture. The steam-water mixture passes through the steam-water mixture supply pipeline and is sprayed throughout the room through nozzles. Contaminated water that has settled on the floor of the room is removed using a peristaltic pump through the contaminated water drainage pipeline. After this, the room is vented with air through the supply pipeline, which is then discharged through the contaminated air exhaust pipeline. Next, an analysis of the composition of the air in the room is performed and, if its composition does not meet the regulatory requirements for the composition of air for a given type of room, the above venting is repeated.
EFFECT: proposed technical solution will make it possible to effectively purify the air in a closed room when eliminating the consequences of a fire, while ensuring safe working conditions for people involved in eliminating the consequences of a fire.
