FIELD: fabric manufacturing.
SUBSTANCE: present invention is related to a method for producing a nonwoven fabric from a spunbond nonwoven material with high elasticity containing crimped multicomponent fibres, the method includes continuous spinning of the fibres, directing the fibres onto the spinning conveyor by means of deflectors and/or air flows, laying out the fibres on the spinning conveyor and preliminary consolidation of the fibres after lay-up using one or more pre-consolidation rolls to form a pre-consolidated mesh, wherein the first fibre component comprises a PP homopolymer and the second fibre component comprises a PP/PE copolymer, wherein the pre-consolidation rolls operate at temperatures below 110°C and/or with a linear contact force less than 5 N/mm.
EFFECT: method for producing nonwoven fabric is proposed.
