SULPHATED POLYSACCHARIDE PRODUCTION METHOD AND PAPS PRODUCTION METHOD Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC C12P19/04 C12N1/21 C12N15/77 C08B37/10 C12N9/10 C12N9/12 C12N9/90 C12R1/15

Abstract RU 2811941 C1

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: methods for producing sulphated polysaccharide and producing 3'-phosphoadenosine-5'-phosphosulfate (PAPS) are provided. The methods include the step of obtaining a transformant from the genus Corynebacterium containing at least a gene encoding ATP sulfurylase and a gene encoding APS kinase. A reaction is then carried out to produce PAPS in a reaction solution containing ATP or an ATP source, a sulphate ion source and a transformant or processed material thereof. Sulfation is carried out using a transformant containing a gene encoding sulfotransferase.

EFFECT: inventions make it possible to produce sulphated polysaccharides using bacterial cells and inexpensive raw materials such as magnesium sulphate, without enzyme purification or the addition of PAPS.
