FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to neurosurgery, namely to devices for plasty of surgical defects of the cranio-orbital region and methods of their application. Balloon catheter for repair of surgical defects of cranio-orbital region includes at least one distal balloon, at least one connecting catheter and at least one proximal balloon. Distal balloon is intended for implantation into a surgical defect of the cranio-orbital region for the purpose of controlled dilatation to correct the position of the anatomical structures. Proximal balloon is intended for implantation into soft tissues and percutaneous introduction of sterile biocompatible solution for the purpose of distal catheter dilatation. Catheter is intended for implantation into soft tissues in order to connect the distal and proximal balloon. Method of using a balloon catheter is characterized by the fact that a pathological formation in the cranio-orbital region is removed, a distal balloon is installed in the area of the formed surgical defect, a connective catheter is inserted into the soft tissues, a proximal balloon is placed in a subgaleal space within the head accessible for percutaneous injections, and the wound is closed. In the postoperative period, a sterile biocompatible solution is introduced percutaneously into a proximal balloon with the help of a syringe until the distal balloon is dilated and the position of the anatomical structures is corrected.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables controlled and minimally invasive correction of the position of anatomical structures after operations in the cranio-orbital region.
