FIELD: powder metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: devices for pulsed electric pressing of powder materials. It can be used in the production of products from powder materials, in particular fuel pellets for nuclear reactors, chemical and other industries. The electric pressing device contains a pulsed energy source, a loading device, a metal cage with a ceramic matrix made of an insulating material, an upper floating die with an upper support located under the rod, a lower fixed die with a lower support mounted on the lower base, a plate with two bushings, on which the clip is fixed with a matrix. The bushings are able to slide vertically along guides mounted on the bottom plate. In the side parts of the bushings, bolts are installed for fastening the matrix with a metal clip on the guides, which are additionally made with a rectangular groove. The upper and lower punches, which have cylindrical shanks, are pressed to the end of the rod and to the end of the lower base with union nuts. On the lower part of the rod, a rectangular detachable plate is fixed and tightened with bolts, on which two traction rods are fixed with threads at the lower ends equal to the height of the matrix, and which are electrically isolated from the rod by textolite bushings, and the rods pass through the plate and are fixed to it from top to bottom using lock nuts.

EFFECT: it is possible to obtain products with specified characteristics, expand the range of their sizes and reduce the labour intensity of manufacturing press equipment.
