FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to prevent aquatic organisms and other interference of biological origin from entering the water intake. The method involves placing a water intake area 3 in front of the water intake 2, in which a layered biological protection system 4 of the water intake 2 is created in the form of a sequential set of man-made biotopes located downstream, namely a barrier biotope 5, which is constructed from repeller beds 7 and placed in the reservoir 1 at the entrance to the water receiving water area 3, as well as a biotope-utilizer 6, which is arranged from a set of diffuser beds 8, concentrator beds 9 and attractor beds 10 and placed in the water receiving water area 3. Repeller beds 7, diffuser beds 8, concentrator beds 9 and attractor beds 10 are formed from orderly arranged reef modules 11, with the help of which they provide a targeted increase in the heterogeneity of the underwater landscape, attractive for the sedentary habitat of aquatic organisms, with the help of which they prevent the entry of biointerference into water intake Repeller beds 7 of barrier biotope 5 are populated mainly by zoophages, with the help of which they scare away viable nekton from water intake 2, and diffuser beds 8, concentrator beds 9 and attractor beds 10 of biotope-utilizer 6 are populated mainly by resident hydrobionts, namely phytophages, planktophages, necrophages and detritivores, with the help of which the plankton and non-viable biointerference entering the biotope-utilizer 6 are processed to a state that does not pose a danger to the water consumer.
EFFECT: reduced entry of bio-interference into the water intake structure.
