FIELD: vacuum gauges.

SUBSTANCE: measuring high and ultra-high vacuum, namely magnetic discharge vacuum gauges, used to create ionization vacuum gauges with measurement limits from 1 to 1⋅10-7 Pa. The hollow cylindrical cold cathode 2 is a removable unit electrically isolated from the housing 6, limited at the edges by magnetic concentrators 4, while an attachable measuring unit of a vacuum gauge 13 is introduced into the device, with the possibility of its separation from an external magnet 11, and pin anode 1 is mounted on a flange 14 having an insulator 15.

EFFECT: design of the hollow cylindrical cold cathode 2 allows for preventive cleaning or quick replacement if damaged, and also reduces the level of interference and noise in the measuring system and facilitates precision measurement of ultra-low current values.
