FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: combined ionisation vacuum-gauge transducer has concentrically arranged plug-in anode, cold cathode which is a permanent magnet and made in form of a hollow cylinder magnetised in the axial direction, conical pole pieces, a screen, a centering washer on which an electrode system is mounted, a base on which a mounting flange and an external connector with leads from the anode and cathode are welded. In the active zone of the transducer there is also an incandescent cathode with stepwise controlled heating current which is connected to external leads of the incandescent cathode through welded holders of the incandescent cathode.

EFFECT: wider measuring range towards low pressure values and increased value of ion current and accuracy of measuring pressure in the said range.
