FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a substrate intended for laying under safety coatings, in particular those made on the basis of ethylene-propylene rubber (EPDM) granules, vulcanized thermoplastic elastomer granules, granules of worn tires and rubber products. A method for manufacturing a substrate for safety coatings involves preparing a mixture of a layer of material by mixing a binder, polyurethane glue, granulated ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) with a fraction size from 1 mm to 50 mm and rubber granules with a fraction size from 1 mm to 8 mm, with the quantity per 1 square meter and a layer thickness of 10 mm being:
- polyurethane glue from 1.1 kg to 1.5 kg;
- EVA from 0.1 kg to 0.9 kg;
- rubber granules from 1.2 kg to 5.4 kg,
Afterwards, the resulting mixture is laid out on the prepared surface, levelled, and kept until cured to form a single monolithic layer of material.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance while simultaneously improving the shock absorption of the backing layer.
