FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing a substrate intended for laying under safety coatings, in particular those made on the basis of ethylene-propylene rubber (EPDM) granules, vulcanized thermoplastic elastomer granules, granules of worn tires and rubber products on various surfaces. The substrate for safety coatings consists of a layer of material that is a single monolithic structure comprising a hardened binder, polyurethane glue, granulated ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) with fraction sizes from 1 mm to 50 mm and rubber granules with fraction sizes from 1 mm to 8 mm, with an amount per 1 square meter and a thickness of the bottom layer of 10 mm being: polyurethane adhesive from 1.1 kg to 1.5 kg; EVA from 0.1 kg to 0.9 kg; rubber granules from 1.2 kg to 5.4 kg.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance while simultaneously improving the shock absorption of the backing.
