FIELD: refining and oilfield chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reagents that neutralize hydrogen sulfide and light mercaptans in liquid hydrocarbon media, and can be used in the oil industry. The following is used: an absorber (neutralizer) of hydrogen sulfide and light mercaptans which is a composition of components in the following mass ratios: 95–5% of organic base; 1–85% of acid; 0–85% of solvent; 0–30% of metal compound; 0–30% of modifier; 0–20% of surfactant (surfactant).
EFFECT: invention is aimed is to implement the purpose of the proposed neutralizer, including implementation without the use of large quantities of concentrated acids and allowing the removal of more than 50% of hydrogen sulfide and light mercaptans.
