SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of atomizer technology, and in particular it relates to a main element providing atomization and an aerosol generating device. The atomizing main element used in the aerosol generating device comprises a mounting base. The mounting base is provided with several recesses that contain a housing cavity. The housing cavity is designed to accommodate an aerosol-generating product. These recesses inside contain heating elements. The heating element is designed to generate heat by applying current to heat the aerosol generating article. The leads of the heating element are electrically connected to a power source outside of the said housing cavity. The heating element includes a heating part and mounting projections connected to the said heating part. The heating part is connected to the side surface of the recess by means of the said mounting projections, and a gap is provided between the said heating part and the bottom surface of the said recess.
EFFECT: possibility of simultaneous heating of several aerosol-generating products, which improves the user's experience during use and maximally satisfies the user's needs.
