FIELD: aerosol generating products.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multi-segment component for an aerosol generating product. The multi-segment component comprises a combustible heat source, an aerosol-forming substrate located downstream of the combustible heat source, and a wrapper surrounding the combustible heat source along at least a portion of its length. An inflatable layer is provided between the combustible heat source and the wrapper and surrounds the combustible heat source, wherein the inflatable layer is formed from an intumescent inorganic adhesive.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the retention of the combustible heat source in the wrapper.
