FIELD: drilling methods.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of materials by cutting and can be used for drilling metal or other materials. The system contains a holder (12), first and second clamping arms with side surfaces forming an installation groove, and a cutting plate. The holder (12) includes at least one coolant hole located through the first and second clamping arms, oriented at an angle to one side of the plate, with a coolant outlet from the coolant hole at a position below the front surfaces of the plate, the coolant distributes over the entire rake face of each cutting edge after entering the blade side from the coolant outlet. The holder has chip evacuation grooves corresponding to the cutting edge for evacuation of chips formed by the cutting edges of the plate. The outlet is offset from the groove.
EFFECT: increases processing speed while maintaining the integrity of the cutting edges of the cutting plate.
