SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a modified conjugated diene polymer, as well as a method of its preparation and a modifier suitable for modifying the conjugated diene polymer. The modified conjugated diene polymer includes a repeating unit derived from the conjugated diene monomer and a functional group derived from the modifier. The specified modifier is a compound of the formula

wherein each R1-R6 independently represents an alkylene group of 1–20 carbon atoms, each R7-R10 independently represents an alkyl group of 1–20 carbon atoms, each R11-R14 independently represents an alkyl group with 1–20 carbon atoms, each Rm and Rn independently represent an alkylene group with 1–2 carbon atoms or an unsubstituted alkenylene group with 2 carbon atoms, m and n are integers selected from 1–3.

EFFECT: resulting polymer has good processability and excellent tensile strength, abrasion resistance, rolling resistance and wet skid resistance.
