SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a modified polymer based on a conjugated diene and a rubber composition comprising same for making tyres, as well as to a method of producing such a modified polymer based on a conjugated diene. Modified polymer based on a conjugated diene satisfies the following requirements: a) a molecular weight distribution curve obtained by gel-penetrating chromatography (GPC) has a unimodal shape; b) molecular weight distribution (ID; MWD) is from 1.00 or more and less than 1.70; c) cold flow ranges from 0.3 mg/min or more to 1.00 mg/min or less; and d) Si content is from 100 ppm or more to less than 5000 ppm based on the total weight of the modified conjugated diene-based polymer.

EFFECT: creation of a modified polymer based on a conjugated diene, which simultaneously satisfies the condition of high modification coefficient and low glass transition temperature, has a unimodal molecular weight distribution curve, narrow molecular weight distribution, high Si content and excellent cold flow properties, which enables to obtain a rubber composition containing a modified polymer simultaneously having improved viscoelastic properties at high and low temperatures and wear resistance, in particular, provides good rolling resistance.
