FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the presence of ammonia, methylamine and dimethylamine vapours in the air atmosphere. The chemosensor comprises boron difluoride o-hydroxydibenzoylmethanate in a polymer matrix, polycarbonate microfibres, and is made by centrifugal spinning of a solution comprising polycarbonate and 1-5 wt.% boron difluoride o-hydroxydibenzoylmethanate in chloroform.
EFFECT: chemosensor has high sensitivity, speed, and an easily recorded response to the presence of these substances in the air.
