SUBSTANCE: method of treating recurrent aphthous stomatitis in patients with chronic biliary-dependent pancreatitis with symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease includes treating the aphthous with a chlorhexidine solution and irradiation with a diode laser. On days 1, 2, 3 of local treatment, aphthae are treated using the method of oral baths using the CURAPROX PerioPlus FORTE rinse for 60 seconds, then a single exposure to the area where the aphta is located is carried out with a Doctor Smil D5 diode laser on a therapeutic program using fibre 300 microns thick when exposed to an adjustable aiming beam of the “red” spectrum, with a wavelength of 960±10 nm, laser radiation power 0.5 W in constant mode, at a distance of 3 mm from the surface of the mucosa, from the zone of hyperaemia to the centre with circular movements for 60 seconds, then a break of 20 seconds, after which the same treatment of the centre is repeated for 45 seconds aphthae. Then the surface of the aphthae is closed with Aftofix adhesive agent. At home, for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 days of local treatment, the patient performs oral baths twice a day using the CURAPROX PerioPlus FORTE rinse for 60 seconds and subsequent closure of the aphthae surface with the adhesive agent Aftofix 2 times a day.

EFFECT: reduction in the intensity level of nociceptive pain, complete and rapid removal of necrotic plaque from the surface of the aphthous element, normalization of pH and free radical oxidation of the oral fluid, reduction in the time of relief of inflammation, acceleration of epithelization and increased regeneration of the oral mucosa in the area of the located aphthous elements.
