FIELD: furniture fittings.
SUBSTANCE: multifunctional profile included in a set of metal profiles for industrial, including mass production of furniture, interior products used in everyday life, in administrative, medical and other institutions, as well as vessel and ship premises. The multifunctional furniture profile contains a wall including stiffening ribs formed by radial projections and recesses. The multifunctional furniture profile additionally contains a zone of radial projections and recesses that form a wavy surface on one side of the wall, the opposite side of which is more than 70% flat. The area of radius protrusions and recesses is at least 30% of the wall length. The ratio of the length of the zone of radius recesses and protrusions to the wall thickness along the radius recess ranges from 3.6 to 32, and the ratio of the length of the zone of radius recesses and protrusions to the wall thickness along the radius protrusion ranges from 1.8 to 16, with a wall thickness along the radius protrusion exceeding wall thickness along the radius recess and wall thickness of at least 1 mm.
EFFECT: ensuring an optimal balance between rigidity, strength and distribution of stress concentrations, thereby achieving an increased service life of the profile.
