FIELD: chemical; petrochemical industries.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of olefinic hydrocarbons by dehydrogenation of C3 -C5 paraffins. A carrier for producing a thermal stabilizing agent for endothermic processes in a stationary bed, including calcium aluminates and aluminium oxide, is described. The product of rapid partial dehydration of gibbsite of the formula Al2O3·nH2O, where 0.43≤n≤1.5, is used as a precursor of aluminium oxide. The porous structure of the carrier is such that the proportion of pores with an effective radius of 60-70 nm is 70-78%. The carrier has the following composition in terms of oxides, wt.%: calcium oxide - 10-36, aluminium oxide being the rest. A method for producing the above carrier is also described, including mixing aluminium hydroxides and calcium compounds, moulding, drying and calcination. The product of rapid partial dehydration of gibbsite of the formula Al2O3·nH2O is used as aluminium hydroxide, where 0.43≤n≤1.5. The carrier granules are calcined at a temperature of 900-1400 °C. A thermal stabilizing agent for endothermic processes in a stationary bed is disclosed, including calcium compounds, copper and aluminium oxides. This thermostabilizing agent includes the above carrier obtained by the above method. The thermostabilizing agent has a specific surface area of 8.0-35.0 m2/g and a crushing strength of 15-33 MPa.

EFFECT: creation of a thermal stabilizing agent for endothermic processes in a stationary layer, which has optimal textural characteristics and high strength.
