SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to hair care compositions. The hair care composition contains a conditioning gel phase together with an aqueous emulsion of branched organopolysiloxane, containing monomeric units of silsesquioxane, having the formula (RSiO_3/2)_n, where n = 1, R represents an alkyl group, and copolymer segments of polydialkylsiloxane; wherein the conditioning gel phase is derived from a cationic surfactant, a fatty compound with a melting point of 25°C or higher, and an aqueous carrier; and the aqueous emulsion of a branched organopolysiloxane contains an aqueous dispersion phase containing water and a cationic surfactant or a mixture of nonionic and cationic surfactants, and a disperse phase containing a branched polyorganosiloxane and a hydrocarbon oil, wherein said aqueous emulsion has a particle size of Dv(50) from 5 to less than 12 microns. Also the use of the composition for increased deposition of silicone onto damaged hair is disclosed.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides increased silicone deposition, especially in damaged parts of the hair.
