SUBSTANCE: antimicrobial drug in the form of a colloidal solution is disclosed, the said drug includes silver proteinate, purified water, glycerine and polyvinylpyrrolidone with a molecular weight of 700,000 to 900,000 g/mol; characterized by an average particle size of colloidal silver from 20 to 32 nm, a size value of 50% of colloidal silver particles from 5 to 20 nm; average value ζ — potential of colloidal silver particles from -0.3 to 0.83 mV, ratio of the following colloidal solution components: 1–5 wt.% of silver proteinate, 5–15 wt.% of glycerol, 0.1–0.5 wt.% of polyvinylpyrrolidone with a molecular weight of 700,000 to 900,000 g/mol, the rest is purified water. The methods of preparing an antimicrobial drug in the form of a colloidal solution are also disclosed.
