SUBSTANCE: invention can be used when performing tangential necrectomy of a burn wound. Necrectomy is carried out in two stages. At the first stage, linear parallel incisions are made in the sagittal plane to the same depth with a distance corresponding to the size of the replaceable nozzle of the disk electrodermatome set. After making the incisions, the depth of tissue damage is assessed by the presence of capillary bleeding. Then, using a disk knife of an electrodermatome, the necrotic tissue is dissected by linear advancement tangentially within the previously obtained sagittal sections, with the value set on the electrodermatome cutting depth regulator equal to the previously determined depth of tissue damage before capillary bleeding appearance.

EFFECT: method simplifies the technique of excision of necrotic tissue of a burn wound by assessing the depth of tissue damage and performing selective and atraumatic excision of tissue with a disk knife.
