FIELD: surveillance devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the positioning of surveillance devices. The rotating device contains a housing; control unit with intrinsic safety circuits for voltage and current; a first actuator with a worm gear motor for rotating the rotating device body around an axis in a horizontal plane; a second similar actuator for moving a camera mounted on the body of the rotating device in a vertical plane; battery pack with intrinsic safety circuits. The intrinsically safe voltage circuit is made by shunting the output bus when the operating threshold is exceeded, and the intrinsically safe current circuit is made by shunting the excess output current when the operating threshold is exceeded. The rotary platform contains a circuit for switching between battery pack modes, which involve charging the battery pack from the input circuit or discharging it to power the brushless motors of the actuators.
EFFECT: power consumption of the rotating device is reduced.
