FIELD: physics; mining automation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining automation, in particular to intrinsically safe thermal imaging video cameras. Video camera comprises a housing from a metal shell, front and rear covers and a compartment with cable inputs for connecting intrinsically safe circuits, inside the housing there is a thermal imaging module, a video server and auxiliary boards, an input current stabilization circuit having dependence on humidity and atmospheric pressure, which serves to limit current and voltage. Input current stabilization circuit includes a step-up converter consisting of a capacitor C1, a resistor Rsh, inductance L1, transistor VT1, diode VD1, capacitor C2, and control system, which monitors consumed current on resistor Rsh and voltage at output of step-up converter, and also receives data from humidity and pressure sensors connected to it, due to which the maximum input current is reduced at increase of humidity and pressure decrease and, accordingly, the maximum input current is increased at decrease of humidity and pressure increase.
EFFECT: improving intrinsic safety of the device and ensuring its use in conditions of mine workings hazardous in terms of gas and coal dust, which meet requirements of intrinsic safety of ia level.
