FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to ultrasound diagnostics in cardiology. Based on echocardiography data, pulmonary vascular resistance in Wood's units, 3 months after pneumonia, early diastolic velocity of the tricuspid valve ring, inhibition of longitudinal deformation of the free wall of the right ventricle, separation of the functional connection of the right parts of the heart and the pulmonary artery system and an increase in systolic pressure of the pulmonary artery are identified. Based on the obtained indicators, the probability value p is calculated. And when p is equal to or more than 0.396, the probability of damage to the right parts of the heart during hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction in patients who have had COVID-19 associated pneumonia is assessed as high.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to assess with high accuracy the probability of damage to the right side of the heart during hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction, which makes it possible to timely take this complication into account in patient management tactics.
