FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used to predict the likelihood of developing a violation of the global longitudinal deformation of the left ventricle after COVID-19 pneumonia in persons without pulmonary embolism, peripheral thrombosis, coronary heart disease and atrial fibrillation. Based on demographic, anthropometric and echocardiographic data determined 3 months after pneumonia, the probability of developing left ventricular global longitudinal deformation disorder 12 months after COVID-19 pneumonia is calculated. With a calculated probability value of p equal to or greater than 0.310, a high risk is predicted, and with a value of less than 0.310, a low risk of developing a violation of the global longitudinal deformation of the left ventricle is predicted.
EFFECT: method allows timely prevention of left ventricular myocardial deformity disorders and, as a result, reducing the number of hospitalizations and mortality from chronic heart failure by accurately predicting the risk of developing global longitudinal LV deformity disorders in the long term after COVID-19 pneumonia by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
