FIELD: medicine; colorectal surgery; endoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: if the loop gets stuck in the polyp tissue, the polyp is pulled up to the endoscope. Loop is relaxed to release the mucosal defect. Then the loop in the same pulled-up position is completely closed and the polyp is cut.
EFFECT: method is easy to use, provides the possibility of complete excision of the polyp in cases when the polypectomy loop gets stuck in the polyp tissue when performing a cold loop resection of epithelial neoplasms of the colon, reduces the length of the surgical intervention, increases efficiency of treatment, allows to preserve boundaries of normal tissue, reduces traumatism.
