SUBSTANCE: invention relates to intraluminal endoscopy, coloproctology, and can be used for localization of blind and ascending colon neoplasms detected during colonoscopy. After detecting a new growth in the right colon, the colonoscope is rotated so that the entrance to the ileocecal valve is located at 9 o’clock of the conventional clock face. Neoplasm is localized relative to the ileocecal valve by a conventional clock face.

EFFECT: method enables fast and accurate detection of the right colon neoplasm location for diagnostic and therapeutic manipulations.
