FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: endoscopic video capsule for colon examination made of transparent inert material with built-in four side chambers and two light sources, having flexible fingers for fixation in intestine, nozzle for gas outflow and tail consisting of tool channel and air channel, each of which ends with a corresponding port for introduction of tools and for connection to a compressor supplying carbon dioxide under pressure. Endoscopic video capsule is made with possibility of movement along large intestine in direction opposite to jet of gas flowing from nozzle, by guide tool capable of rotating through 360 degrees and bending in two planes through 90 degrees.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of endoscopic examination of the large intestine in case of intestinal obstruction and manifested adhesive process of the abdominal cavity.
